近日,大連海事大學(xué)法學(xué)院Filippo Lorenzon教授與“聯(lián)合國貿(mào)易和發(fā)展會(huì)議”(簡稱“聯(lián)合國貿(mào)發(fā)會(huì)”, UNCTAD)合作,撰寫了兩份關(guān)于新冠疫情對(duì)國際貿(mào)易和貨物索賠影響的簡報(bào)。兩份簡報(bào)廣泛討論了新冠疫情帶來的法律和實(shí)踐問題,以及疫情對(duì)國際間貨物順利流動(dòng)造成的障礙。兩份簡報(bào)既指出了存在的問題也提出了合同層面和法律制度層面的解決辦法,將成為未來一段時(shí)間內(nèi)各方深入研究該問題的基礎(chǔ)。即:《新冠疫情對(duì)商事合同的影響:CIF和FOB下的國際貨物買賣》與《新冠疫情對(duì)商事合同的影響:海上貨物運(yùn)輸及相關(guān)的貨物索賠》。
Filippo Lorenzon教授簡介:Filippo Lorenzon教授曾任英國南安普頓大學(xué)海商法研究中心主任,自2018年8月起正式加入大連海事大學(xué)法學(xué)院,受聘為商法和海商法教授。主要講授“租船合同”、“英美海商法”、“歐盟航運(yùn)法”、“國際海上貨物運(yùn)輸公約”等課程,作為主要作者出版了“Sasson on C.I.F. and F.O.B. Contracts”(第七版)、“Maritime Law”(第五版)等著作,為大連海事大學(xué)海商法學(xué)科的國際化發(fā)展做出了重要貢獻(xiàn)。
Professor Filippo Lorenzon has worked with the United Nations Conference for Trade and Development (UNCTAD) on two UNCTAD briefs on the effects of the Covid-19 Pandemic on international trade and cargo claims. The two notes discuss extensively the legal and practical issues caused by the Pandemic and the obstacles it has created to the smooth flowing of goods across International boundaries. The two briefs highlight issues as well as possible contractual and legal solutions and will form the bases of further study in the coming months.

About Professor Filippo Lorenzon
Professor Filippo Lorenzon joined the DMU Law School since August, 2018. As a professor of commercial law and maritime law, he teaches Charterparties, Maritime Law in UK & US, European Shipping Law, International Conventions on Carriage of Goods by Sea. He has extensive publications as the main contributor, including “Sasson on C.I.F. and F.O.B. Contracts”(7th edition), “Maritime Law”(5th edition). He has made a significant contribution to the internationalization of the maritime law discipline at Dalian Maritime University.
